Communist Monument built in Northern Bulgaria by the Bulgarian communist regime in 1981 to commemorate the events in 1891 when the socialists led by Dimitar Blagoev assembled secretly in the area to form an organised socialist movement. The tower of the now abandoned Buzludzha reaches a total height of 107m.
